Darci Keyes, owner of the Groves Campground and Event Center, swiftly responded to the news of Faster Horses' hiatus by initiating her own event. This inaugural edition aims to offer an intimate yet vibrant experience for country music enthusiasts, promising a lineup of talented performers and a welcoming atmosphere.

The decision to launch Country Roads was almost instantaneous for Keyes. Keyes humorously mentioned considering naming it "Slower Mules," reflecting her intention to create a laid-back vibe. Tickets for Country Roads are anticipated to be priced around $200 for a three-day pass, offering attendees access to all festivities.
