Eligibility and Application Process

To be eligible for the WMBA's Class of 2025, applicants must have at least one year of full-time employment in the music industry and earn the majority of their income from a music-related job. Singer-songwriter applicants are required to be affiliated with a Performance Rights Organization (PRO).The application process involves submitting the completed form, along with at least one letter of recommendation, by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. CDT on November 15th. The WMBA Board of Officers will review all submissions during their November meeting, and applicants will be notified of their membership status by the middle of the month.Successful applicants will become members of the WMBA for the 2025 calendar year, spanning from January 1st to December 31st.
