Two distinguished senior students at Milligan University will be presenting their final recitals this coming Saturday, March 1. The events will take place in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium within the Seeger Memorial Chapel, offering an evening of musical excellence for all attendees.

Hannah Decker, hailing from Limestone, Tennessee, is set to mesmerize audiences with her vocal prowess during a performance scheduled for 5 p.m. Aspiring to become an educator, Decker has been actively involved in various musical groups on campus. Her repertoire includes compositions by renowned composers such as J.S. Bach and W.A. Mozart, alongside pieces by more modern artists like Cole Porter and Richard Rodgers. This diverse selection promises a rich and engaging experience for listeners.

In contrast, Max Brown, a native of Greeneville, Tennessee, will captivate the audience with his piano skills at 7 p.m. A dual major in music performance and general chemistry, Brown's passion for both arts and sciences shines through his involvement in multiple ensembles. His recital will feature works by classical masters including J.S. Bach and F. Chopin, along with contemporary pieces by Victoria Bond. After completing a year-long internship, Brown plans to further his studies in chemistry while continuing to teach piano privately.
