Escanaba Students to Showcase Musical Talents in Upcoming Concert Series
2025-03-04

Young musicians from Escanaba Junior and Senior High School are set to display their talents through a series of upcoming concerts. The annual March Music Concert series offers an excellent platform for students to hone their skills before the festival season. Seventh and eighth-grade bands will be performing, each with unique programs tailored to their level. These performances provide valuable experience as the students prepare for more formal evaluations by professional musicians.

The community eagerly anticipates these events, which serve as important stepping stones for young performers. On Tuesday evening, the eighth-grade band will kick off the series with their pre-festival concert in the school auditorium. Following this, the seventh-grade bands will present their "Around the World" themed concert on March 13th. Finally, the jazz bands from both junior and senior high will take the stage on March 25th. All concerts are open to the public without charge, fostering a supportive environment for these budding artists.

These concerts not only offer a glimpse into the musical journey of these students but also highlight the importance of community support in nurturing young talent. By sharing their music locally, the students gain confidence and readiness for larger stages ahead. Such experiences are invaluable in shaping the future of these young musicians, reinforcing the belief that every performance is a step towards excellence.
