Clooney's Cunning Capers: A-List Antics Revealed

George Clooney, the acclaimed actor and director, is known for his dashing good looks and award-winning performances, but it seems his true talent lies in the art of the prank. In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Clooney lifted the lid on his mischievous exploits, sharing the details of his hilarious hijinks targeting some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Mischief and Mayhem: Clooney's Prank Prowess Exposed

Impersonating Pitt to Prank Cruise

Clooney, 63, revealed that he once orchestrated an elaborate ruse by posing as his Wolfs co-star, Brad Pitt, 60. The actor obtained fake stationery designed to appear as if it came from Pitt and proceeded to send letters to Cruise, 62, and several of their peers, all while masquerading as the renowned actor. Clooney's mischievous scheme involved convincing Cruise that Pitt was interested in reprising his role as Lestat in a potential sequel to the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire, much to the bewilderment of the unsuspecting Cruise.

Targeting Streep and Cheadle

Clooney's prank-fueled antics didn't stop there. He also targeted acclaimed actress Meryl Streep, sending her a box of CDs and claiming they would help her with her accent work for the film Troy, a project in which Clooney had no involvement. Additionally, Clooney revealed that he sent the same Pitt-impersonating letter to actor Don Cheadle, further expanding the reach of his elaborate ruse.

The Aftermath: Victims Respond

While Clooney's pranks may have provided a good laugh for the perpetrator, the victims eventually caught on to his mischievous ways. Kimmel himself shared that Pitt had received a call from Cruise, who was under the impression that Pitt was on board with the idea of a sequel to Interview with the Vampire. Pitt, however, was completely unaware of the prank and was left bewildered by Cruise's proposal.

Clooney's Confession: "They Usually Figure It Out"

Clooney acknowledged that his pranks often leave a trail of clues, and the subjects of his jokes eventually uncover the truth. "There's usually some guess involved with me," Clooney said. "Usually somehow they figure it out." Despite the eventual discovery of his antics, Clooney's mischievous spirit remains undiminished, as he continues to entertain his fellow celebrities with his cunning and creative pranks.

Upcoming Project: Wolfs

Fans of Clooney's work can look forward to seeing the actor in his upcoming film, Wolfs, which is set to hit theaters on September 20 and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ on September 27. While the details of the film remain under wraps, it's clear that Clooney's talent for both acting and mischief-making will be on full display.
