ITV’s I’m A Celebrity show has been captivating audiences as it approaches its final week. The campmates now have the opportunity to nominate themselves for the bushtucker trials, with viewers voting to keep their favorite celebs in camp. On Sunday’s episode, Barry McGuigan made a bold move by nominating himself. However, the celebs awoke to a disastrous scene of torrential flooding after a night of heavy rain in the jungle.

Weather Conditions: A Biblical Downpour

Corrie star Alan Halsall described the weather as "honestly biblical," with rivers flowing through camp and pathways transformed into waterways. Everyone’s bed was drenched, and former boxer Barry McGuigan added that in his 63 years of life, he had never seen such rain. Hosts Ant and Dec, who host the show each year, revealed that they too had never experienced such bad weather.

Barry’s Trial: A Spiral of Challenges

For Sunday’s trial, Barry was strapped to a giant spiral wheel with only one hand free. His task was to throw balls into the hatches around the side of the wheel when they opened, with each ball equaling one star. Once strapped in, he was joined by some offal, cockroaches, and giant mealworms as he started spinning around. After missing the first attempt, he quickly got the hang of it and scored an impressive 10 out of a possible 11 stars. This was no easy feat, and it demonstrated Barry’s determination and skill.
