Jon Cryer Spends Holidays Building Intense Christmas Village (Exclusive)
2024-12-16
Jon Cryer, at the age of 59, truly gets into the holiday spirit by building a remarkable Christmas village. This year, he's taking a different approach, opting for an Americana theme instead of his usual themed villages like Los Angeles, Paris, or London. His wife, Lisa Joyner, shares insights into the elaborate setup.

Setting the Stage

Jon Cryer builds his Christmas village in front of the fireplace, creating an extra area to contain it all. As Joyner adds, it even extends onto the floors and into the living room. This setup is a sight to behold. The Two and a Half Men alum doesn't rely solely on store-bought goods. He uses little figurines, around 50 of them, along with detailed houses and landscaping. There are even little carnival rides and ski slopes. A ski lift goes up and down, and Joyner mentions that he makes waterfalls. For those items that can't be bought, Cryer takes matters into his own hands. When he had the Los Angeles-themed village, he used a 3D printer to create several buildings like the Cinerama dome, LAX, Disney Hall, and City Hall. He even recreated the Die Hard building - Nakatomi Plaza - with a little guy hanging off in a helicopter.Although Cryer and Joyner don't have young children together (Cryer has a 23-year-old son Charlie with his first wife), they do have to be cautious about their two rescue dogs. Cryer admits the dogs seem to know the village is off-limits, and Joyner humorously adds that if they mess it up, it's over. This holiday village is a testament to Cryer's passion for the season and his creative spirit. It's a unique and enchanting display that brings the holiday spirit to life.
