In 2006, my wife and I made our way to the CMA Music Fest in Nashville. The festival was a vibrant hub where superstars, oldies, up-and-comers, and newbies took the stage. We were captivated by a 16-year-old girl with curly blonde hair, wearing a summer dress and holding an acoustic guitar. Her mature stage presence and catchy songs left a lasting impression on us.During the festival, we also visited the exhibit hall where fans could meet the artists. There, we saw this same girl at her booth, accompanied by her label representative and what seemed to be her mother. Surprisingly, no one came to meet her. My empathetic wife couldn't bear to see her discouraged, so we went over to meet her and get our pictures taken. She was incredibly kind and we offered our compliments and good wishes. My wife even encouraged her to stay connected with her fans, just like the best country artists.

That day, she met over 1,000 fans in just nine hours at her booth! It was a remarkable turnaround.
