Madonna Announces New Music in 2025 with Beloved Collaborator
2024-12-16
Madonna, the pop icon, has always been at the forefront of the music industry. After an incredibly successful Celebration Tour this year, she is now ready to embark on a new era of music in 2025. And she has brought along a familiar collaborator, Stuart Price.

Reuniting with an Old Collaborator

Madonna captioned an Instagram Reel of herself and Stuart Price in the studio, stating, "Working on new music with Stuart Price." Price was the lead producer on Madonna's beloved 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. These past few months have been like medicine for her soul. She added, "Songwriting and making music is an area where I don't need anyone's permission. I'm excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!"

Madonna's Past Collaborations with Stuart Price

Madonna recently reconnected with Price to be the musical director of the Celebration Tour. Years ago, Price played a crucial role in making Confessions on a Dance Floor, which included massive hits like "Hung Up," "Get Together," and "Jump." The album earned her a Grammy in 2007 for Best Electronic/Dance Album. The film for that LP's tour, The Confessions Tour, also brought her a Grammy win for Best Long Form Music Video the following year.

Price's Other Notable Works

Outside of his work with Madonna, Price was one of the producers for hit tracks from Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia in 2020, including "Levitating" and "Hallucinate." He also produced several tracks from Jessie Ware's That! Feels Good! in 2023. These collaborations showcase Price's diverse musical talents and his ability to create chart-topping hits.

Madonna's Recent Music Drops

Madonna's last music drops came in 2023 when she joined the Weeknd and Playboi Carti on The Idol's "Popular," dueted with Sam Smith on "Vulgar," and joined Blond:Ish on "Sorry." Her 14th studio album, Madame X, arrived in 2019 and featured collaborations with Maluma, Anitta, and Quavo. These recent releases have kept her fans excited and looking forward to what's next.
