On Married at First Sight, we see various couples facing different challenges. Take Madison and Allen, for example. The potential between them is growing, but the first thing Cortney noticed was major ICK. It seems Madison is reluctant to let Allen out of the friend zone, yet she still finds aspects of him attractive. The way she laughs with him gives hope that she might open up more. Allen has a lot of positive qualities like being into the gym, having a car, and being a chef. Cortney believes that the way to Madison's heart lies through physical activity and gym dates.
Karla and Juan present a different dynamic. Karla is reserved, and Cortney worries about their ability to go deep in the relationship rather than just staying on the surface. Juan might feel judged and uncomfortable, and Karla is feeling rejected. It will be interesting to see if they can hit the reset button and get on the same page.
Enem and Ikechi are Cortney's favorite couple with huge potential. There isn't much ICK between them. Ikechi highlighted their different living styles this episode. Enem has great energy and is willing to show her true self. Cortney hopes to see more of Ikechi's creativity and artistic side and for them to connect on a deeper level.
Camille and Thomas have potential due to their openness in communication. Both were open to each other's critiques. But expressing what one doesn't find attractive can be difficult as it may lead to rejection. If both aren't truly open to hearing feedback and making changes, it can lead to resentment. It's a delicate balance for a new couple.
Michelle had major ick towards David at first. But after the experts visited, she tried to connect with him by planning activities, which he appreciated. However, every time they are on screen together, Cortney feels uncomfortable. Michelle is disappointed as she didn't express her expectations clearly. Cortney wonders how Michelle would react if David were more physically attractive. There seems to be a missing piece in their match.
