According to multiple reports, the son of the renowned rapper Master P, along with two other students, found themselves in a legal predicament. These individuals were arrested after allegedly stealing refrigerators from the campus of Southern Utah University. The "I’m Bout It, Bout It" rapper's son, Hercy Miller, 24 years old, along with Brock Felder, 20, and Peter Dadson Jr., 25, were taken into custody on one count of theft on Wednesday, November 27th. All three are members of the SUU Thunderbirds basketball team.

Details of the Theft Incident

Arrest documents obtained by the local ABC affiliate KTVX-TV reveal that the men stole two refrigerators, each valued at $1,500, from the loading dock of the Cedar City, Utah school's campus bookstore. Security footage captured the athletes loading the appliances into their vehicles on Monday, November 11th. Police later observed the refrigerators inside the apartments of two of the men and in the garage of the third, as per the court records obtained by KTVX.Dadson Jr. and Miller claimed that they thought the refrigerators were being discarded as they had been on the loading dock for "almost a month." However, the affidavit states that "[Dadson Jr.] said that he believed they were being thrown away and that it was OK to take them." Felder, on the other hand, told police that he assisted in loading the refrigerators but that one of the other suspects had initiated the alleged crime. The three men were booked into the Iron County Jail and were released on Thursday, November 28th. Miller is in his first year at SUU after transferring from Louisville last season. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, he is averaging 8.8 points per game. Both Dadson and Felder also played in the team's 90 - 55 win over Park University Gilbert on Tuesday, December 3rd.A representative for the school has not yet responded to PEOPLE's request for a comment. Head coach Rob Jeter told TMZ Sports on Tuesday that the incident was a misunderstanding and that "the university is working to get this thing resolved quickly."These events have raised questions about the actions of these athletes and the importance of following the law. It also highlights the need for proper communication and understanding within the university community to prevent such incidents from occurring. The case serves as a reminder that even those in the spotlight are not exempt from facing the consequences of their actions.
