On April 16, 2025, a landmark event marked the official consecration of Brigham Young University's School of Music Building. From its inception in 2020 to welcoming students and faculty two years ago, the journey of the School of Music Building has been one of innovation and precision. Designed as a cutting-edge facility spanning four levels and encompassing 171,000 square feet, it houses state-of-the-art facilities tailored for every aspect of music creation. The centerpiece, Opus 100—a magnificent pipe organ crafted by Létourneau Pipe Organs—was installed in summer 2024, completing the structure’s transformation into a sanctuary of sound.
