Prediction Enterprises Launches as Latin Music Rights Firm
2024-12-02
In recent months, Prediction Enterprises has made significant strides by closing multiple deals and officially launching as a prominent music rights management company. Co-founded by industry veterans Matthew Limones and Nicolás González, this firm is dedicated to handling the rights and revenues of top music industry creatives and rights owners.

CEO's Perspective

CEO Limones expressed his pride in founding a company that provides essential services in a sector where he identified a need. After his tenure at a major collective management organization, he saw an opportunity to start an operation focused on managing the rights and revenue of creatives who had grown their business in the recorded music field. His extensive experience and expertise have laid a solid foundation for the company's success.

Limones brings a wealth of knowledge in music technology, policy, and label management to his role. Before co-founding Prediction Enterprises, he served as vp of artist relations at RichMusic, was the director of marketing at Universal Music Group/Capitol Latin, and managed artist and label relations at SoundExchange. His efforts expanded the company's Latin digital footprint and earned him a place on Billboard's 40 Under 40 list and as a Billboard Latin Power Player alum.

Services Offered

The company offers a comprehensive range of services for labels, publishers, artists, producers, and songwriters. It has negotiated multi-million dollar transactions of music catalog rights and deals for top names such as Pitbull, Natanael Cano, Gerardo Ortiz, Sech, Darell, Belinda, Gabito Ballesteros, Cristian Castro, Nacho, Fariana, Lit Killah, and brands like Latin music festival Vibra Urbana and media company Rapeton. This demonstrates the company's ability to handle high-value transactions and work with a diverse range of clients.

By providing these services, Prediction Enterprises is helping creative artists navigate the complex world of music rights. Many artists' careers move quickly, and they may not have the time to understand and learn which rights belong to them or how to start claiming their royalties. The company is stepping in to fill this gap and provide valuable support.

COO's Contribution

COO González added that many creative artists need help in understanding their music rights. His diverse background in tech, music business, and production has been instrumental in the company's operations. Before joining Prediction Enterprises, he was integral to the Uruguayan pop group Rombai, serving as a music director, composer, and producer. His work earned him accolades such as the Uruguayan Music Graffiti Awards and honors from the Viña del Mar International Song Festival. He also serves as vp of the Music Managers Forum in Miami.

González's expertise and experience bring a unique perspective to the company. His ability to combine different aspects of the music industry has enabled Prediction Enterprises to offer comprehensive services and build strong relationships with clients.
