Quavo Set to Ignite Quinnipiac's Wake the Giant Event in 2025
2025-04-21

An exciting announcement has been made regarding Quinnipiac University's upcoming cultural event. The Student Programming Board (SPB) revealed on April 21 that Quavo will headline the Wake the Giant concert this year. Scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at the M&T Bank Arena on the York Hill Campus, this performance promises to be a thrilling experience for attendees. Known for his dynamic stage presence and impactful music, Quavo hails from Athens, Georgia, and has previously captivated audiences as part of the renowned rap trio Migos.

This development follows an earlier disappointment when NLE Choppa was forced to withdraw from the event due to health reasons just ten days ago. Over the years, the Wake the Giant series has featured an impressive lineup of artists and entertainers, including Flo Rida last year and rapper Offset in previous editions. Additionally, notable personalities such as Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson from "Saturday Night Live" have graced the SPB-hosted events, showcasing the university’s commitment to delivering diverse and engaging performances.

In light of these changes, Quinnipiac’s Office of Student Life reassures ticket holders through an official email communication. All purchased tickets will remain valid with their original seating assignments honored. Attendees now have the choice to either keep their tickets or opt for a refund if they prefer not to attend. This decision reflects the institution's dedication to providing flexibility and ensuring a positive experience for all participants, reinforcing the importance of adaptability and support within educational communities.
