Celebrity chef Guy Fieri, known for his spiky hair, fiery personality, and his quest to uncover the best "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on the Food Network, is making a pit stop in Tallahassee on Saturday, October 26th. The Emmy Award-winning chef is hosting a meet-and-greet and bottle signing event at Market Liquors on North Monroe Street, in support of his award-winning tequila brand, Santo Spirits, which he co-founded with his longtime friend, rock star Sammy Hagar.

Outside of his 49 seasons on the popular Food Network show, the restaurateur, Fieri, got his start selling pretzels out of a cart until he saved enough money to attend a culinary school in France. It was there that his passion for food and international cuisine grew, setting the stage for his future success. Upon returning to the United States, Fieri opened a series of casual dining restaurants after graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

In fact, more than 80 Florida restaurants have been featured on Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." Additionally, the celebrity chef has a few of his "Chicken Guy" chicken tender restaurant locations operating in the state.
