Steve Harvey's Mentorship Program

Meanwhile, Harvey is set to premiere "Steve Harvey’s Camp: Building Men, Inspiring Dreams ̶ A Dr. Phil’s Merit TV Special" on Dr. Phil’s Merit TV on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 9 p.m. ET. According to the news release, this documentary special showcases Harvey's weekend mentorship program held at his private ranch in rural Georgia. Here, he hosts 250 young men who are growing up without fathers. With the support of Dr. Phil McGraw, former NFL quarterback Cam Newton, and Grammy winner Kirk Franklin, Harvey inspires these teens to become positive leaders in their communities and families.

The Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men, a key initiative of the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation (SMHF), selects fatherless teens aged 13 to 18 from across the nation each year to participate in life-changing camps. These camps build resilience, leadership skills, and a vision for a brighter future. Alongside the boys’ camp, SMHF also hosts the Single Mothers Enrichment Summit, empowering mothers with the tools they need for mental, emotional, and financial well-being.

For over 15 years, Harvey has been hosting this camp and providing father figures to thousands of young men. This wouldn't be possible without the generous contributions of volunteers and the support of partners. Through mentorship, these young men have received the tools they need to succeed both professionally and emotionally.
