During one memorable SNL afterparty, a blizzard hit when Paul Giamatti was the host. It turned into a wild party with the Strokes. As Amy Poehler, 53, recalled, "When I say 'blizzard,' I mean actual snow." This event led to an impromptu dance battle between Harry Styles and Kristen Wiig, adding to the legendary status of these afterparties.Another instance was when Leslie Jones shared her favorite afterparty with Dave Chappelle. Aidy Bryant's favorite afterparty memory involved a never-heard-before story between Harry Styles, 30, and Kristen Wiig, 51. There was a bit of a dance-off between them on a table, leaving Bryant in awe. "This is it," she said.Not all afterparties were glamorous, though. Ana Gasteyer recalled Will Ferrell's hilarious phrase when he realized how late they had been out. "Uh-oh, it’s the icky blue light," she said. For the 40th season celebration, Sasheer Zamata named the party her favorite. She and Fred Armisen recalled their excitement over Prince being in attendance. Bowen Yang and Cecily Strong both named the afterparty following RuPaul's hosting debut as their favorite. Cecily Strong, 40, recalled, "There were all these drag queens. Like everyone was dancing on tables and I had not seen that before." Bowen Yang, 34, added, "We were at STK Midtown, a very buttoned-up establishment. Then RuPaul had a DJ there who played house music and the season 12 girls came and we all went to the tables and started dancing.
