The new SMP office space is housed in a beautifully re-imagined century-old building. It has been customized from the ground up to enhance the creative experience. The design not only reflects Sony Music Publishing's enduring legacy but also embraces a modern vision, positioning it as the premier service company for the world's most influential songwriters and composers. This remarkable design was achieved through close collaboration between renowned studio architects WSDG and the innovative design collective RIOS.The attention to detail in the design is evident in every corner. The century-old building has been transformed into a space that seamlessly combines the past with the present, creating an environment that inspires creativity and innovation.
Creative Suites and Facilities
The new creative and songwriting hub is equipped with an array of top-notch facilities. It boasts five dedicated writer studios, six listening rooms, and a state-of-the-art recording studio featuring two independent recording booths and an artist lounge. Each creative suite is designed to maximize acoustic performance and is equipped with cutting-edge systems and production gear.The collaborative office and social areas alongside the creative suites promote engagement between creators and staff. This creates a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere where ideas can flow freely and collaborations can thrive.

Earlier this year, SMP moved its Nashville headquarters to Music Row's 17th + Grand office space. SMP leased 24,000 square feet of the building located at 1005 17th Avenue S in Nashville. This move further solidifies the company's commitment to providing a supportive environment for its songwriters and staff.
