T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Discussed Bringing Daughters to Jingle Ball Red Carpet
2024-12-18
Recently, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes made a significant appearance on the Jingle Ball red carpet, turning it into a family event. This moment was not taken lightly, as the couple had extensive discussions with their daughters before stepping out. On December 13th, the former GMA3 co-hosts attended the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York City, accompanied by Robach's 18-year-old daughter Annalise from her ex-husband Tim McIntosh and Holmes' 11-year-old daughter Sabine from his ex-wife Marilee Fiebig. It was the first time this familial crew had made a red carpet appearance together.
Navigating the Red Carpet with Family
On the Wednesday, December 18th episode of their iHeartRadio podcast, Amy and T.J. opened up about the experience. Holmes, 47, shared that they had to have a discussion with their kids before walking out on the red carpet. He emphasized that if the children didn't want to be part of it, they didn't have to. But they were insistent. Holmes continued, "There was no small thing, and a discussion had to be had ahead of time." Even so, he admitted to still being a bit nervous. Robach, 51, acknowledged that it was the first time they had brought both daughters with them onto a red carpet. "Obviously, it's only been a year since the two of us were on the red carpet, so for us to go on with one of our daughters - a piece altogether, the four of us standing there - that was a decision," she said. They talked to their daughters about it, and everyone was okay with it. As the proud mom, Robach said, "That wasn't just something that we didn't give deep thought to before we walked out on that red carpet."In addition to Annalise, Robach and McIntosh, who divorced in 2010, also share a 22-year-old daughter, Ava. Holmes is a dad to daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with his first wife, Amy Ferson. In a January episode of their podcast, Robach said the couple's relationship with their children is "evolving." "As tough as it's been for so many people in our lives, it's the most difficult for them because now they're having to look at us in a different way with one another," Robach explained. "We have been very thoughtful and we've taken things very slowly and we're being very patient. But things are good. They're peaceful, and we want to continue building on that."The red carpet debut with their daughters seemed to make Holmes and Robach even more nervous than their daughters. It was a moment that required careful consideration and deep thought. But in the end, they went for it, creating a special memory together.
