Five exceptional students from Rugby Public High School were selected to showcase their musical prowess at the prestigious 46th Annual Northwest Festival of Music held at Minot State University on November 1st and 2nd. These young artists, representing their school and community with distinction, joined a select group of regional high school performers in a celebration of musical excellence.

Choir Students Shine in Cantabile Choir
The Rugby Public High School Choir was well-represented at the festival, with three talented students chosen to perform with the Cantabile Choir. Soprano Ree Fox and altos Marnell Sobolik and Eden McFadden lent their voices to the ensemble, which was conducted by Dr. Emerson Eads. The Rugby Public High School Band also made a strong showing at the festival, with two students selected to perform in prestigious ensembles. Trombonist Cole Anderson played with the Symphonic Band, which was conducted by Darcy Brandenburg. Flutist Lexi Yoder showcased her talents in the Concert Band, led by Dr. David Rolandson.
