Travis Kelce: Strip Club Wings but No Strip Club Dates with Taylor Swift
2024-12-11
Travis Kelce, the renowned Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is currently in a love story with girlfriend Taylor Swift. However, there's one place he firmly avoids taking her on a date night. In the December 11 episode of his podcast, "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce," he shared his thoughts on the worst places to take a woman on a date.

Strip Clubs: A No-No

When asked about the "absolute worst" place to take a woman on a date, Travis, 35, humorously replied, "Maybe don't take her to the strip club. Although some strip clubs do have really good wings I have heard. Don't know anything about it." This shows his awareness of the potential pitfalls and his attempt at adding a touch of humor to the situation.

Considering Date Interests

Travis emphasized the importance of considering a date's interests and hobbies. He noted, "If she's not into sports, don't take her to a f—ing sports game. There's nothing worse than trying to teach somebody about something they don't want to be taught about." This shows his thoughtfulness and understanding of a woman's preferences.

Compromise in Romance

His brother and co-host Jason, 37, who is expecting his fourth child with Kylie Kelce, shared that good dates come down to "attitude" rather than location. He said, "It's really what you make of it." Jason also revealed that compromise is key in romance. For example, he loves watching the holiday movie "Love Actually," which isn't his wife Kylie's top pick. He conceded, "It's part of being a considerate partner."

End of Swift's Eras Tour

The episode, which dropped on Wednesday, December 11, also touched on the end of Swift's Eras Tour, which concluded in Vancouver on December 8. Travis paid tribute to his girlfriend, saying, "Shout out to Tay. The unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end. The concert was 'insane,' and 'pretty crazy.'" He also showed his loyalty by adding with a laugh, "But mostly because of Taylor!"During the episode, Kelce also paid tribute to Swift's crew. He said, "Obviously it's her music, her tour but that was a full production, it was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people." This highlights his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of Swift's team.Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.
