After leaving the I’m a Celebrity jungle, campmate Tulisa Contostavlos has finally opened up about her decisions. She deleted all evidence of the show from her Instagram, didn't appear on the spin-off show Unpacked, and called her fellow campmates “fake”. This week, Tulisa was the third to leave the jungle and later appeared on the Lorraine show virtually to discuss her time there. When asked about making “friends for life”, she expressed doubts about the sincerity of some friendships.

Deleting Instagram Posts and Taking Time Out

Fans noticed that Tulisa had deleted all traces of I’m a Celebrity from her Instagram, while others like Dean McCullough and Jane Moore still had content. Tulisa later posted a video explaining that she became overwhelmed by the attention and comments after returning to social media. She said, “When I first came out of the jungle, I felt fine at first. But that evening, as I was scrolling through Instagram, I got a lot of attention and it started to feel overwhelming. I needed to take some time for myself and just chill.” She archived her posts instead of deleting them and plans to create her own content about the show later.

Tulisa expressed her thanks to ITV for supporting her mental health during this time. She said, “Mental health is really important and I am super grateful for the love and support that I’ve had. I’ve just felt overwhelmed. I’m an introvert and being in the jungle with people I just met for two and a half weeks and then coming out to all this attention was a lot. I just need a bit of time to process it.”

Clarifying About Fellow Campmates

Tulisa also clarified her comments about her fellow campmates. She said, “I don’t think any of my campmates are fake. On Lorraine, I was just thinking out loud that in the jungle, you have those you are closer to. When we get out, those friendships will be nurtured. I’m friends with everyone – I love my jungle buddies, my jungle fam.”She ended the video by saying she would be taking some time off social media to process her experience and would be back soon.
