Baby's Arrival Amidst Infertility Struggles

The journalist and her husband faced a difficult time when doctors initially told them they might never conceive again after five failed frozen embryo transfers. However, this year brought a miraculous turn of events as they found out they were pregnant naturally. The past nine months were filled with the strength of prayers and the love of their friends and family. Now, they are overjoyed to welcome Carter into their lives. It's a reminder that hope can prevail even in the face of adversity.

Schneider and Harrison's first son, Lincoln, was born in 2020. Carter joining his big brother has created a beautiful bond within the family. They are truly grateful to have a family of four and hope their story can offer hope to those struggling to start a family.

When it came to naming their second son, the couple drew from their family tradition of giving their kids presidential names. Carter continues this tradition as he joins his older brother Lincoln. Their sons also have ties to their grandparents in their middle names, adding a special touch to their identities.

Wedding in the Nation's Capital

In 2019, Schneider and Harrison tied the knot at District Winery in Washington, D.C., where they first met in 2017. The wedding was a grand affair with a custom designed art deco poster of their caricatures against a D.C. cityscape background. The décor and table designs from the bride's sister Susan Schneider Hennelly added to the charm of the evening. Despite the wet weather on Saturday night, they managed to get amazing pictures at the Jefferson Memorial, which is Schneider's favorite monument. The night was filled with joy as friends and family danced the night away.

It was on the Bumble dating app in March 2017 that Schneider met her future husband. Harrison knew he wanted to get engaged after just six months of dating and proposed on July 4th, 2018, with a redesigned version of his grandmother's diamond ring. Schneider said "yes" at her family cottage in the Finger Lakes.

Now, with two sons, Schneider's life is filled with love and new adventures. She continues to make a mark in her career while also cherishing the moments with her family. Their story is a testament to the power of love and perseverance.
