2025-01-21

Rodeo Austin has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 ProRodeo and concert schedule, set to kick off on March 14. The event will transform the Travis County Expo Center into a vibrant hub of country music and rodeo excitement. Attendees can look forward to an opening performance by Jon Wolfe and Walker Montgomery, who will bring their energetic rendition of “Kick Open the Chutes” to the stage. For the following two weeks, visitors will enjoy daily live country music performances culminating in a special Dia Del Vaquero celebration featuring La Mafia, a five-time Grammy Award-winning band hailing from Texas.

Throughout the 15-day extravaganza, Rodeo Austin will showcase a diverse lineup of talented artists. Among the highlights is Charley Crockett, an Austin-based musician known for his storytelling prowess, who will perform on March 18. Luke Grimes, better known as Kayce Dutton from the hit series "Yellowstone," will grace the stage on March 20. Other notable acts include Walker Hayes, Ella Langley, Dashboard Confessional, Robert Earl Keen, and Southall Band, rounding out this impressive roster of performers. This eclectic mix promises something for every fan of country music.

Beyond the thrilling entertainment, Rodeo Austin stands as a beacon of community support and educational advancement. Originating as a modest stock show in 1938, it evolved into a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting agricultural education and providing scholarships. Since 1981, the organization has awarded over $8 million in scholarships to more than 2,400 students. Each year, thousands of schoolchildren tour the fairgrounds, gaining valuable insights into agriculture, while college students benefit from internship opportunities. The upcoming event not only promises unforgettable performances but also underscores the enduring commitment to enriching lives through education and community engagement.
