According to Allen, that fateful day began with a simple brunch. As they were getting ready, Steinfeld surprised him by jumping on the bed and expressing her eagerness to get married. Allen replied that he needed a bit more time. Little did she know that he was about to make her the happiest woman. He was extremely nervous as he was sure Steinfeld would figure out his plan. Multiple times during the day, a song would play, making him tear up as he thought about the special day ahead.

The Proposal Itself

Luckily, Allen had prepared what he was going to say. He revealed that he couldn't wait any longer and expressed his desire to start a family with her. He said her full name and asked her very nicely. He made sure to do it perfectly. Steinfeld was left completely surprised and said yes. That was all that mattered to Allen.
