On Sunday, December 8th, the renowned Bachelorette star, Kaitlyn Bristowe, who is 39 years old, took to Instagram to share some post-operation photos. Just a day prior, she had informed her fans about having an "upper bleph" (blepharoplasty) on this social media platform. In one of the snaps, she posed for a selfie in bed, allowing followers to get a view of her swollen and pink eyelids. Another image showed her in a medical facility still wearing her blue hairnet. A video then captured the moment when someone pushed her out of the clinic in a wheelchair. She was still sporting the hairnet and playfully joked about it being "embarrassing" as the person filming laughed behind the camera. According to the Mayo Clinic, a blepharoplasty "is a type of surgery that removes excess skin from the eyelids." It further adds that "sagging skin around the eyes can reduce side vision (peripheral vision), especially the upper and outer parts of the visual field," which is a common issue with aging. "Blepharoplasty can reduce or eliminate these vision problems. In the caption, the Off the Vine podcast host revealed that she wasn't the only one recovering at home. She mentioned that her two golden retrievers, Pinot and Ramen, had also received stitches. "A lot is going on at the Bristowe residence. All 3 of us have stitches. I got an upper bleph (take it to your group chat if you wanna be negative). Ramen had a fatty tumor removed (Please pray for it to come back normal). Pinot had a tooth pulled (He was so high when he came home he had to eat laying down)," the TV personality wrote. She also added photos and videos of her beloved pups. "And my back yard is torn up!! (Which means dogs go on leashes every time they have to go, even if it's 3am)," she added, sharing a video of the work being done outside her home. "So, good news. I saw a dog today.
