According to a notice shared by Fulton County on Wednesday, November 27, the property was slated for auction on Tuesday, December 3 by Truist Bank. It was set to "sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash" outside the Fulton County Courthouse. The property was to be sold "during the legal hours of sale," which is between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time. As of now, the current status of the property remains unclear. This home also appears on the Fulton County foreclosure list as of Tuesday, December 3, according to public records.

Background and Loan Default

In February 2023, the home was set for public auction after former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out for the property in October 2012. However, a source told PEOPLE a few days later that the estranged couple took "action to clear this up." Despite these efforts, the situation continued to unfold.

Allegations and Court Requests

The former NFL linebacker, Kroy Biermann, 39, claimed that Zolciak's "frivolous spending" left them with just one remaining asset - their shared marital home. Per the documents, the property has been nearly foreclosed on "at least two times" before. He also alleged that his ex's "complete disregard" of their "financial situation will have devastating consequences" for them and their children. As a result, he requested that the court "force the sale of the home" for a price he deemed acceptable and "remove [Zolciak] from any decision-making process." Zolciak, 46, was said to have said "she didn't care if the home went into foreclosure" and didn't want to accept an offer of less than $3.85 million for the property at the time as she wouldn't "have enough money to purchase a home" of her own.

Zolciak and Biermann first put their home on the market for $6 million in October 2023, nearly two months after Biermann filed for divorce from Zolciak for a second time in August 2023. Since then, they have cut the price of the sprawling mansion several times. They first brought the asking price down to $5.5 million in December 2023, then to $4.5 million in January 2024, and again to $4.2 million in June 2024. As of November 2024, the property was listed at $3.7 million after receiving another price cut. The home features seven bedrooms, a six-car garage, billiard and arcade rooms, a gym with a private massage room, a 500-bottle walk-in wine cellar, a heated pool and a home theater, according to Zillow. The property is spread across 1.78 acres of land.
