Late-night TV Host Becomes "Sexiest Male Celebrity" and Celebrates
2024-12-11
In a rather astonishing turn of events, a late-night TV host found himself celebrating after being bestowed with the title of the "sexiest male celebrity." And he isn't shy at all about relishing in the limelight. Gambling website BetUS presented its list of the "sexiest male celebrities," using criteria that encompassed the "Golden Ratio (measurement of facial symmetry), personality type, occupation, Instagram following, and Google Search Volume" to rank and determine the sexiest male in the nation.

Colbert's Triumph and Acceptance

The winner, Stephen Colbert, truly made his mark. The website awarded the Late Show host a Golden Ratio score of 8.79 while highlighting his "wittiness and infectious humor." Colbert's personality also played a significant role in securing this honor. On Tuesday night's episode of The Late Show, he took center stage in the Ed Sullivan Theater and gracefully accepted the award as a substitute for an Emmy. He kept his sense of humor intact as he thanked BetUS, playfully referring to it as "America's top online gambling website that is not the ones you've heard of."This wasn't the only moment that showcased Colbert's charm. As he delved into BetUS's ranking, there were a few hiccups along the way. There were some typos, a deceased celebrity, and even Pat Sajak outranking Jude Law. But Colbert didn't let these minor setbacks overshadow the main message: he is the sexiest celebrity in the nation, at least when looks take a backseat.

Colbert's Late-Night Companions

Stephen Colbert wasn't alone on this list. It seems that BetUS's system believes that sexiness and hosting late-night TV are closely intertwined. James Corden came in third on the list. Although the former Late Late Show host is no longer on the air, he clearly hasn't been forgotten by BetUS. Jimmy Kimmel landed in fifth place, and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon also made the cut, coming in seventh.

Other Late-Night Notables

Watch What Happens Live! host Andy Cohen found himself in 87th place, sandwiched between Jim Carrey and Chris Pratt. Saturday Night Live alumni Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler also made an appearance near the bottom of the 179 celebrities on the list. These names add to the diverse mix of late-night personalities on BetUS's list.
