Simu Liu, a renowned actor, recently took to Instagram to share the joys of a festive holiday weekend. In a Sunday, Dec. 1 post, he gave a glimpse into his Thanksgiving with girlfriend Allison Hsu. The 35-year-old's caption simply said "thankful", and the photos he shared tell a story of togetherness and fun.

The photos include a smiling Liu and Hsu in front of a spread of delicious-looking beans, potatoes, meat and gravy. It also shows the Shang-Chi star carving a turkey for their table. Additionally, there's a family trip to Disneyland, with a fireworks display over the Sleeping Beauty Castle and a giddy ride on the Incredibles-themed Incredicoaster.On her Instagram Stories that same day, Hsu shared more snapshots of their Disneyland adventure, including a selfie with her in a Minnie Mouse ears headband next to Liu. A musician and digital marketing manager at Interscope Records, Hsu has been posting photos of her boyfriend as recently as Nov. 25, when she shared a shot of Liu with his dog Chopa.

Relationship Insights

The couple made their relationship public in December 2022 and have shared glimpses of finding time within their "busy and chaotic schedule". As Liu called it in an Instagram post celebrating Hsu's birthday last December, "whether we're on another crazy trip to god-knows-where for who-knows-what, or just binging our way through friends at home, there's simply nothing better than holding your hand. thanks for never giving up on me."

Work and Future Projects

Liu's "schedule's always packed", he told PEOPLE at the world premiere of his movie Barbie last summer. He added that it's hard for anyone who travels a lot to fight for time together and make sure they're present with each other. Following his work in 2024's Atlas and Jackpot!, Liu will next appear in Stephanie Hsu's upcoming Peacock comedy Laid and the Woody Harrelson movie Last Breath.
