My Beatles Fan Days in High School

Back in the late 70s when I was in high school, I was a huge Beatles fan. The group I was a part of had some members who were even more passionate than I was. A few even donned John Lennon glasses from time to time and occasionally dressed up like their favorite Beatle. But that was where the impersonation ended. The biggest fan among us, the one who went to great lengths to get those John Lennon glasses, had zero musical training. It's amazing how music can bring people together and create such unique memories.The earliest Beatles songs hold a special place in my heart. I think they are the most joyful of their works. Maybe it's the changing seasons that make me feel a bit down, but I could really use a little boost of cheer during the darkness of winter. There's still nearly a week until the days start to get longer, and I can't wait for that moment.
