ABC, NBC, CBS, and CW have truly outdone themselves this holiday season. Their 2024 schedules are filled with a diverse range of shows that will transport viewers into a world of holiday cheer. From classic Christmas movies to new holiday-themed episodes, there is something for everyone.
For instance, "Best Christmas Movies Ever!" airs at 8 p.m. on Dec. 9 on CW. It's the perfect way to take a break and enjoy some festive entertainment. And on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m., ABC brings us "Toy Story That Time Forgot," adding a touch of Disney magic to the holiday lineup.
Holiday Episodes of Favorite Shows
"Abbott Elementary" on ABC and "NCIS" on CBS are not to be missed during the holidays. These popular shows are taking a break from their regular schedules to bring us special holiday episodes that are sure to delight fans.
On Dec. 10 at 9 p.m., ABC airs "Disney Prep & Landing," followed by "Disney Prep & Landing 2: Naughty vs. Nice" at 9:30 p.m. NBC also has its share of holiday fun, with "Shrek the Halls" at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11 and an encore of the same on Dec. 17.
Lighting Up the Holidays
The Great Christmas Light Fight is a must-see event during the holidays. On Dec. 12, ABC and NBC both air different episodes of this popular competition, with "The Great Christmas Light Fight: 1204" at 8 p.m. on ABC and "The Great Christmas Light Fight: 1201" at 9 p.m. on the same network.
And don't miss the one-hour extended version of "E! News Presents NBC’s Hot 10 of 2024" at 8 p.m. on Dec. 12. It's a great way to catch up on the top stories of the year while getting into the holiday spirit.

NBA on Christmas Day
Christmas Day is always a big day for basketball fans, and 2024 is no exception. The NBA schedule on Dec. 25 features some of the biggest teams in the league, with games starting at noon and ending at 10:30 p.m. on ABC.
From the San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks at noon to the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors at 8 p.m., there is no shortage of excitement on the court.
New Year's Eve and Beyond
As the year comes to an end, CBS brings us "New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash" at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31. And on Jan. 1, NBC airs the "135th Rose Parade Presented by Honda" at 11 a.m. and ABC has the "2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" at 8 p.m.
