Decorating the Christmas Tree
In the clip, the 55-year-old Food Network star adorns a huge Christmas tree with hundreds of rainbow-effect lights. The tree is so tall that she has to use a large, red step ladder to reach the top. At one point, she even precariously balances on the stairs of her Oklahoma home to reach a tricky spot. Once the lights are in place, she sweeps up the fallen pine needles and adds a red velvet cloth around the tree's base. It's a meticulous process that showcases her attention to detail. This isn't just any ordinary Christmas tree for Ree. She believes that bigger means better, and she pours her energy into making it a centerpiece of her holiday decorations. The rainbow-effect lights add a magical touch, making the tree stand out in any room.Family Traditions and Upcoming Events
Ree's daughter Alex Drummond Scott and her husband Mauricio Scott are also getting into the holiday spirit. Last month, they gave fans a first look at their Dallas home decorated for Christmas. In the Holiday 2024 issue of Ree's The Pioneer Woman Magazine, Alex, 27, and her husband shared some adorable snaps of their home. This year is particularly special for them as they're expecting their first baby in January.Alex reminisced about growing up with traditions that made their childhood so special. She looks forward to creating new traditions with her own family. And for Ree, 2024 will mark her first Christmas in the newly completed family home. She and her husband Ladd, 55, unveiled it in April.Explaining their decision to build a new home instead of renovating the original property on their Pawhuska, Okla., ranch, Ree shared the significant issues their former home had. It wasn't a charming 50-year-old house. They loved raising their kids there, but it had foundation problems and developed plumbing issues and water damage.Their new home features Spanish ranch elements like arched doorways and exposed wood ceiling beams. It also has an industrial-style open iron staircase with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing the perfect spot for Ree to place her Christmas tree. It's clear that the Drummond family is making this holiday season one to remember with their beautiful decorations and upcoming events.
